The Manhattan Young Democrats (www.manhattanyoungdems.org) are sponsoring several trips to volunteer in highly competitive Congressional races. Even if you’re not an American citizen, you can still make a difference in an American election and we would love to have you!

On Sunday October 22, the activist organization ACT-NOW and the Manhattan Young Democrats are sponsoring a bus trip to Philadelphia: we’ll meet and canvass for Lois Murphy, super-competitive Democratic Congressional candidate, and help get rid of extremist Senator Rick Santorum at the same time! We’ll meet at 9 a.m. at the NW corner of 33rd St and 7th Avenue. We’ll return to the same spot by 7 p.m. Learn more about Lois, who lost her 2004 bid to unseat the same rubberstamp Republican incumbent by just 2%, at www.loismurphy.org.
